Warning: If you are broody by nature but now is not the right time for a(nother) baby, please don’t scroll down any further without first restraining your ovaries. The images below do contain adorable babies in woolly bobble hats.
Ovaries safely contained? Ok.
Bonnie Mob, as Bonnie Baby have rebranded themselves to celebrate ten years of small-person fashion success, sent the twins a glorious parcel containing a few of their AW15 designs to try out for size and review.
Ready for woolly bobble hats?
Here we go.
The twins hadn’t worn hats since last winter and much merriment was had with Lysander repeatedly yanking Balthazar’s off by the bobble, causing Balthazar to laugh so hard that he had to sit down – bless! They’re going to have to get used to them sharpish because having seen them wear them now I am completely in love with woolly-bobble-hatted babies and planning to expand the collection poste haste.
Baby brand collaborations make my heart sing. There’s little that I enjoy more than when a brand sends me their products to try out, style and photograph. When Tracey from the Bonnie Mob and I were initially discussing this review I told her to go ahead and dress the twins herself because I loved everything on their website – seriously, it’s all gorgeous and you should go look – and whatever she sent would be a pleasant surprise. The colours are fab, with the yellow and mustard providing a pleasing pop of colour against the monochrome. As you can see, these outfits look fantastic against an autumn palette but I can see the monochrome translating well into the winter wardrobe as well.
I’ll be honest and say that I care way more about whether the clothes look and feel luxurious than whether they wash well or carry stains but fortunately my fab other half Kirsty is fussed about that sort of thing and has popped these bits in an experimental wash (they came out fine even though they’re so soft to touch that I felt sure that they would fall apart!).
So what do you think? How cute are my children in this beautiful Bonnie Mob clothing?!
I’d love for you to take a look at the Bonnie Mob website and as always, if you buy something, do comment or tweet me to tell me what you’ve picked up!

I am well known to have to ‘feel test’ the fabric of any item I buy, and having felt the silky luxurious quality of these clothes, I was seriously impressed.
And don’t the twins show them off to perfection.
Officially in love. Colourful chunky knitwear – OK, maybe I am ready to embrace Autumn. So pleased they go up to age 7. Beautiful photos, as always.
They look utterly gorgeous as ever – beautifully styled babies & beautifully styled photos! Not a brand I’ve ever heard of – I’m off to investigate further. I think Bo needs a woolly pom pom hat!
oh the cuteness!! I was doing ok until I saw the double bobble and now I have to go straight downstairs and knit a hat for Pip with two bobbles (one for each sister as they fight over it!)
OMG, the double pompom hat, I can’t stand it, it is TOO CUTE! We need one! 😀
Gosh they are just so cute! Lovely colours on them both. I love a bit of mustard clothing especially in Autumn.
What is it about babies in woolly hats? We’ve just cracked out the hats for Autumn too. Sooo much cuteness. These are amazing pics of your little ones and the clothes look really gorgeous.
Could they look any cuter?! I think not, gorgeous little guys xx
Nope, shouldn’t have looked. Total mistake. #BROODY
Off for a browse on the Bonnie Mob website. Will hold you personally responsible for any monies spent! xx
Oh my goodness me. Quite possibly the cutest baby photos I have ever seen (besides Elsie’s naturally :))
Just gorgeous Amber! Like everyone else, I absolutely adore your photography and this brand is stunning.
Thanks so much for sharing. After a rotten day, these images have cheered me up hugely 🙂 x
Love it, I am off to check out their website, I’m a huge fan of knitwear. And yep, this post has definitely made me broody!x
oh my goodness, please can you just wrap them up and post them to me… they are absolutely gorgeous boys! although not sure I could cope with 5 boys under my roof haha
Beautiful images. God bless the children. Did you use the D700 for this shoot ?
