It’s the fifteenth and so it is time for my monthly Siblings update. Which – to be honest – would look very like July’s Siblings update only with a few more teeth.
The highlight for the twins’ siblingly relationship this month was:
Hearing Lysander howling with outrage and rushing into the kitchen only to find that Balthazar was chasing after him, gleefully pat-pat-patting his head. Poor Sasha.
Their different styles of interaction means that whilst they can and frequently do enjoy moments of play together, Lysander tends to appreciate Balthazar’s company less than the other way round, which is a tremendous shame because Balthazar LOVES his brother and wants nothing more than to pat-pat-pat him constantly or pin him down on the floor and give him enormous open-mouthed beginning-to-get-toothy kisses.
For Siblings this month we tried to follow our traditional monthly portrait format…
… with (very) limited success. Ah, babies…
So this month, we’re sharing a trip to the park, twin-style.
This month I’m sending you to Carie from Space for the Butterflies, who has written a beautiful and eloquent post about the siblingly dynamic changing as her smallest grows.
Have you taken some pictures of your little siblings this month? We’d love to have you join in! Please feel free to link up below.

i just love reading your sibling updates. Their relationship will probably really change once they both talk and can communicate better. Bless them.
They are so so cute and I love that their personalities shine through the pics. All smiles and excitement and a huge love of exploring 🙂
What gorgeous photos! They are just so adorable, and so sweet in that swing together, too.
Oh Amber, these photos are ADORABLE! I love how full of personality they both are now. And I love that they look alike but one has the big brown eyes and one has the big blue ones… just gorgeous!
And how funny that their relationship can be a bit one sided. I have two friends with twins and in both those families their tends to be one twin who wants to play with the other more. I wonder whether their relationship will stay that way, or whether it will swing backwards and forwards as they change and grow. x
Awww they are so cute!!
Twins sharing a swing is just the cutest, I love their smiling faces and you always seem to capture them just perfectly, even when they are on the move. Every month I can’t believe how much they are growing up and changing but they are still the most beautiful babies 🙂 #siblings
Gosh I want to squish their cheeks! Beautiful shots as always. It’s great watching them grow.
Wow! Amazing pictures, so so cute, especially the ones on the swing, twin-style. Wonderfully captured! Hopefully Lysander will learn to appreciate his brother’s affections soon – it took my daughter a while to want to be around her brother, though, admittedly, she isn’t a twin and a fair bit older than Alex. Gorgeous boys you have there!
LOVE the photos of them both in the swing together, so cute!! x
What beautiful photos as usual. Lovely to hear about their personalities and relationship developing. I’ve never seen 2 babies in a swing before – fabulous!
