Do your children have beanbags?
Recently Beanbag Planet asked us whether we would like to review a beanbag and, if we liked it, host a giveaway on our site. They have dozens of attractive designs so we spent a while deliberating as we browsed the website but ultimately settled on this teal beanbag with its rainbow circles, for no real rhyme or reason other than that Kirsty thought it was the prettiest.
I wasn’t sure that the twins would get much out of it at this age, to be honest. They’re well out of the sleepy phase but not old enough yet to curl up on the beanbag to read a book. So it was a pleasant surprise when both twins were perfectly content to lounge around on the beanbag for ten minute stretches, and Balthazar, king of Nap In Mummy’s Arms-land, would happily nap on it.
It’s beautiful to look at and we’re looking forward to using it across the coming months as the twins gain more independence. Josephine-dog loves it too and enjoys curling up on it for a cheeky snooze whenever our backs are turned.
I would warn you not to strap your little one in if he’s already fairly mobile – ours were both able to easily and safely climb on or off of the beanbag unless they were strapped in, at which point they flipped the beanbag over with them and dragged it across the floor like poor, deformed tortoises, sobbing with outrage at no longer being able to squash through small spaces.
Kirsty tells me that we will be buying a second beanbag, which is probably the best endorsement that we could give.
Would you like to win a beanbag from Beanbag Planet? If so, you are in luck because I do have one to give away using the rafflecopter link below.

That looks super comfy. No wonder they look so relaxed. Lysander looks truly chilled, and Balthazar looks like he’s planning!
Ha ha at the poor deformed tortoise – made me lol 🙂 Other than that they look fab and comfortable 🙂
