Oh, oh, this month of May. So much has happened and all of it has been lovely.
Hayley from Shutterflies invited me to participate in my first Google hangout , which she had organised around the subject of ‘photography’. I was a bit nervous about ‘meeting’ some of my favourite bloggers but couldn’t resist the opportunity so I flung on a bra and lipstick and spent two hours chatting to some really lovely people.
Screenshot taken by Natalie of Little Jam Pot Life, who kindly said that I could borrow it as I stupidly forgot to take my own!
I participated in the Pampers #everybaby twitter party with Tots100 and won a £25 John Lewis voucher by sharing our pregnancy announcement photograph.
I haven’t spent my voucher yet because I’m waiting for the sales to start, but I’m keeping an eye on John Lewis all the time and enjoying plotting my potential purchase.
The twins frolicked in bluebells for this month’s Siblings Project photoshoot. Lots of other blogs showed their tinies hanging out in the bluebell woods this month too – I guess we all had the same idea! My pictures for this month showed Lysander sitting; it’s a new skill that he acquired just this month. He’s a little wobbly still but delighted with his new skill!
We received some BEAUTIFUL baby clothes to review. There are a couple still in our to-do list which we’re looking forward to tremendously, I did get a chance to put the twins in the gorgeous clothing sent to us by Delilah Loves You. And on a baby fashion note, Bex at The Mummy Adventure and I started a facebook group for children’s fashion bloggers. If you write about small people fashion, head over and join us – we’d love to have you!
We took our first family holiday, to Camber Sands, and spent hour upon luxurious hour walking the gorgeous expanse of beach. I hadn’t realised how much I needed that time with my family until we were there.
Whilst we were at Camber we took these beautiful sunset beach photographs for this month’s Me & Mine.
It’s been a fab month and now it’s really starting to feel like summer! I’m excited to see what June will bring.
