It’s the fifteenth of the month – well, it was – and that means that it’s time for another Siblings Project update.
This month my little twins have started asserting their independence around each other a lot more and that’s resulted in a fair few more fights They are learning to properly kiss and cuddle each other (though Zaza often wants to do this more frequently than Sasha, and Sasha is only keen on kisses when he’s in the mood) and they now seem to have an adorable little night routine where they go in the cots and spend an hour laughing and playing together, and then when one falls asleep, the other will make sad cooing noises over the cot edge.
They’re starting to communicate with each other a bit more now as well. I’ve noticed a few times Zaza has gone to a toy, especially the ball, and then pointed it out to Sasha saying ‘there! there!’ which I guess is a kind of ‘play with me’ ask. Sasha also occasionally brings Zaza a toy and gives it to him to play with. And in the buggy, with Sasha on top and Zaza on bottom, Zaza will grab for Sasha’s toes and make him laugh.
This is my monthly update for The Siblings Project, which I co-host with Lucy from Dear Beautiful, Katie from Mummy Daddy Me, Keri-Anne from Gingerlilly Tea, Carie from Space for the Butterflies and Annie from Fable & Folk. We’d love to have you link up below with your own monthly sibling update and also do check out the new instagram page.
